My favourite Venues in Niagara
Wow! This is a huge topic to cover but I hhmmm’eeddd and I haaaww’eedd and I got this list down to my top 10. Niagara and close surrounding areas is so super hard to narrow down as we have some pretty amazing venues. I will also do a breakdown of my favourites in GTA and the Haldimand area in the near future. I love so many of these venues for different reasons so here we go. Please note that these have been through my personal experiences and in no way can I guarantee anything. Disclaimer! 🙂
I will start with the venue I will be showcasing in this blog. White Oaks Resort also in Niagara on the Lake Ontario. I have personally photographed many weddings here in varying capacities. Just an all round great place. Whether you are just planning a getting ready here or portraits or your entire even from getting ready to reception this is the place that accommodates in many ways more than any others I have seen. The kitchen staff accomidates a wide variety of ethnic cuisines and they do it well. The meals are prompt and they can look after huge crowds. I have seen this with my own eyes. If you are planning a unique and or large wedding this might be the place for you.
Second is Hare Co. in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. I love this venue for the rich rich rich coloured bricks and the seas of brick all around you. Around the back of the property are gorgeous vast fields and also an epic treelines. The staff is super accommodating and this venues does lend itself to give sort of that Toronto feel in quaint Niagara on the Lake. Check it out folks
Third is Inn on Twenty in Jordan Ontario. This venue is utterly sweet and withstands the long time tried tested and true. The Inn has been around for years and offers a variety of receptions feels for different needs. The outdoor venue options are gorgeous and the indoor in case of rain options provide a super high end in case of option, which lets face it, isn’t always the case. The staff is right on top of everything you might need day of and look after your every need. With the escarpment as a backdrop from many angles in any season.
Fourth is Club Roma in St Catharines, Ontario. This venue has come so far and made a ton of changes in the past 5 years. Have zero issues consulting with any client and making them feel at ease that they will have a worry free luxury experience with Roma. Not only will you get this experience but also find yourself likely saving a few pennies along the way. Club Roma is another venue that offers a few different reception areas with differing looks and feels but man do they all ever offer some pretty yummy umm food.
Fifth is Pillar and Post in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. This is such a hidden gem. If you search venues Niagara on the Lake this may not be the first to populate. It’s not in the true downtown but very very close. Close enough to take full advantage of the stunning backdrops Niagara on the Lake offerers for winter, Spring Summer or Winter weddings. I’m a bit of a sucker for downtown NOTL for their winter wedding looks.
Sixth is Maple Meadows farm in Port Colborne, Ontario. This is such a unique venue. If diy, barns and burlap, Tractors and horses is your kind of thing. Boy, do you ever need to check this place out. With florals grown right on site and plucked and arranged just for you to countryside land and feels all around you there is just no place to you go wrong for wedding day photos to receptions and accommodations. Getting ready is available for you right on site and just such an amazing cozy little feel to it. Maple Meadows will definitely not leave the country girl bride disappointed.
Seventh is Honsberger Estates which I suppose is technically lincoln but maybe Niagara. I find a lot of clients coming from either direction end up choosing this as their venue. Another luxury barn venue however Honsberger gives off a much different feel from Maple Meadows. With the winery backdrop and outdoor patio option, last night dances on the patio, just saying! 😉 do it. Seriously, lol. Anyhow. There isn’t much a don’t love here. The outdoor ceremony location and amazing giant brick house. The vineyards, the barn, the food. ppfptttt guys, just go take a look. High end! 🙂
Eighth is Stonewall Estates, St Catharines, Ontario. Also will be showcased in this blog. Stunner of a venue. Ceremony location again is just top notch. Outdoor option facing onto the ravine and barn in behind for entrance of bride and bridal party to ceremony. The smaller little barn makes for a great backdrop for photos and for the bridal suite for bride and groom and bridal party to have a little time for themselves on wedding day. Additional barn and great little vintage blue truck on site and a large area make this a super ideal vintage feel wedding on the larger side. Can accommodate a larger crowd indeed.
Ninth is Back ten Cellars, Beamsville, Ontario. This is basically the opposite side of the scale for size from Stonewall but has is just oozing with character and charm. Planning a smaller elopement sized wedding this is the place. White walls and options to take advantage of the B&B. Beauty of a from room area for guests for dinner party. Neatest little venue. Have a look guys.
Last but certainly not least Balls Falls, Lincoln Ontario. I shoot here so often truly. It just has so much of what so many people are looking for. The barn with twinkle lights for reception is straight from a fairytale. There area a number of barns and little off shoot areas that are truly fantastic for photos. The staff is always accommodating and this venue just truly makes for a great wedding setting. Rounding out my list for Niagara Ontario Wedding is Balls Falls. I also happen to be a preferred vendor here and It holds a super special place in my heart.
Well there you have it folks. My top ten Niagara Venues. Hopefully you have found this helpful and may all of your wedding dreams come true! 🙂
