Hey Folks. Alright, So today I am blogging about tackling the surprisingly huge task of your wedding day timeline. I've been hearing so much recently about cutting things here and there and that is 100 percent okay so long as at the end of the day...... the end of your once in a lifetime wedding day, there are zero regrets. This is a giant subject to try and cover in a blog but I am going to try and do this. So let us start with the getting ready. Some people have in the past cut this from being covered with professional photos and have later on regretted this. I think the main reason for this comes down to when they are designing an album. Albums can end up looking a little different when they start at a ceremony. Times when I have seen this work well have been with destinations but even then only sometimes and also with elopements. Getting ready can truly be like an introduction chapter to your wedding day album. Although albums are not readable books they do still have a flow to them and there is a beginning, a middle and an ending. So that is why I feel so strongly about getting ready photos. Also it does warm everyone up, not just out bride and groom to be but everyone in the bridal party.
Today I am going to example one of the best planned weddings I have shot. There was ample getting ready time and a beautiful flow throughout the day. Planning the entire day is something I like to go through at great lengths and once booked with me we go over it in great detail to make sure time fits like a puzzle piece into your wedding day. Having said this though it is also just as important for all of you Type A lovelies out there to not book too tightly. Myself being type A myself can see how easily this can happen however if ever there is a time for us to get a little more relaxed and leave buffers it is now. I will talk in my next blog about leaving buffers and allowing creative minds to be creative and breathe and set up lighting and such but until then I will leave you all with this gem. Such a gorgeous couple inside and out. There wedding was in Ancaster, Ontario at the lovely Knollwood Golf and Country Club. Please enjoy this wedding day story told with my favourites captures of the day.
